Cycling in the Hohenlohekreis

Neuenstein is surrounded by three different cycle tours, rich in contrast, through the glorious countryside of Hohenlohe. Whether you favour the more relaxed or a more demanding tour, there is sure to be something for you.

Bach-Tour

By bike through the romantic “Bächle” countryside.

Tour details: On this tour through the Hohenloher Ebene, a flat plain, the cyclist discovers five towns and villages with the suffix “bach” in their name. “Bach” is the German word for stream. The tour leads to various streams and brooks that follow the cyclist through the countryside around Pfedelbach and Öhringen.

Prince’s Tour

Relax and cycle through majestic landscapes

Tour details: This tour takes the cyclist through the magnificent countryside of the Hohenloher Land in the tracks of the aristocratic house of Hohenlohe, from which the countryside takes its name. The history of the landscape breathes the history of its inhabitants, whether nobles, artisans or farmers, all have left their individual stamp on the countryside. Numerous illustrations of this can be found on the route.

Hamballe-Tour

Cycling through the Hohenloher Land - a landscape of contrasts.

Tour details: Enjoy the best of both worlds: the historical town of Öhringen, once residence of the House of Hohenlohe – Öhringen and as a contrast, the surrounding countryside of the Hohenloher Ebene with its intensive farming and natural beauty. Cycle through the romantic Salltal. By the way, the trip will take you through 7 further villages and hamlets with “...sall” in their name.
